   Barbicide and Sanitation training was done to fulfill our necessary continued education and context knowledge to be able to provide you with a safe space and healthy environment. 

Due to Covid-19

Clients are required to:

1. keep all personal items in car (Purse, phone) these items are fine 

2.Clients are welcome to wear a mask but are not required. IF you are sick please reschedule or you will be turned away and appointment will have to be rescheduled.

3. All clients are to wash their hands before session begins and after it is over.

4. Any symptoms present during session, aesthetician has the right to stop all services at that moment, and also request documentation that you do not carry the virus.

Appointments can be rescheduled, money will not be refunded.

Cancellation and Rescheduling policy

Energy wax and Beauty Bar require a 24 hours notice cancellation policy.

Those who need to cancel but do not give the appropriate 24 hour notice will be subject to be charged full amount of session previously booked. 

Your patronage is valued at Energy Wax Beauty Bar and we ask that you respect our cancellation rescheduling policy.

Rescheduling

We require 24 hr notice, and your session will be rescheduled for another available time. Failure to provide the notice will result in full payment of current session and deposit for rescheduled session.

NO Shows

 

Since we require a 24 hrs notice before cancelling, No shows will be charged the full amount. We value our clients and their patronage please be aware of our time as we are of yours.

Contraindication 

​

These are condition or factors that serves as a reason to withhold specified treatments due to the harm it could cause our clients. We want our clients to keep an open line of communication and transparency to ensure you have the best experience here at Energy Wax Beauty Bar.

Energy Wax Beauty Bar is not a doctors office, we do not diagnose or treat contraindications but have all rights to refuse treatment if we feel their may be a risk of exposure. We will advise you seek medical treatment and once you have we will revisit the service you initially booked.

Before & After Wax Care

**Before and After care is very important for our clients and not keeping up with maintenance can result in additional necessary treatment. 

After waxing 

*Keep area clean and avoid heat and friction during the next 24-48 hrs

 

 

 

 

Before

*Try to exfoliate with dry brush or exfoliate mitt 2 days prior to treatment

*3-4 weeks is the best growth for the best results 

*Do not shave or trim before session

After

*No hot baths or showers (cool or lukewarm water only) 

*No saunas, hot tubs, massages or steam treatment 

*No tanning ( sunbathing, sun beds or fake tans) 

*No sports, gym work or other exercise 

* Avoid scratching or touch the treated area with unwashed hands

* Wear clean, loose fitting clothes 

*Avoid Swimming in Chlorinated pools

*Do not apply deodorants, body sprays, powders, lotions and or other products to the treated areas unless recommended by your Esthetician

Please Note: slight soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal temporary reaction particularly if it is your first wax. These symptoms should subside over the next 24-48 hrs.

Lash Extension After Care 

​

1. Avoid getting them wet for up to 48 hours after application.

2. Do not rub or touch your eyes.

3. Clean with eyelash foam cleanser every 3 days

4. Brush through your eyelash tips in the morning

5. Do not use oil based products around or on the eyes

6. Do not sleep on your face

7. Stay on top of your infills (recommended every 2 - 3 weeks)

Cleaning Lash Extension

​

Using a soft bristle brush and specialist eyelash extension cleaning foam, clean approximately every 3 days. Getting into this habit removes traces of natural oils, dust and make-up. This prevents any build-ups causing pressure on your lashes and breaking down the bond. Ultimately, you need to clean clean clean to avoid premature lash shedding.

5 vital aftercare tips that you should consider post-treatment.

1) Avoid Washing Face Aggressively

 

No one is saying you can’t wash your face. You can even wash it the very same day, but don’t be aggressive while doing it. Like, don’t wash over the brows roughly during the healing period. If you want to do it, the best way is to clean it with a cotton pad and some water, neglecting the treated area.

 

And, after day 10, you can wash your face the way you always do it.

 

2) Apply Ointment

 

Gently apply a thin layer of ointment suggested by the specialist. It will make all scabs fall off quickly. As a tip, you can apply it before showering to keep the area protected.

 

The best part is, you don’t have to use it once the brows are healed.

 

3) Use Cleanser

 

If you want to clean your eyebrows, simply rinse them with a cleanser, recommended by the technician, that too twice a day. Again be careful and don’t rub while doing it, as any sort of friction will begin the irritation in your skin. After rinsing, you can also apply a good ointment for better results.

 

4) Avoid Wearing makeup

 

Since the treated area remains sensitive and prone to infections post-treatment, you can avoid the makeup for a while. Don’t worry once the healing period is over, you can continue your normal routine.

 

5) Don’t work out or sweat a lot

 

With some people, the treated area remains sensitive, sometimes a little bit swelled, after the treatment. Since the pigment is too intense, it may cause some redness. Since the wound is fresh, the area is prone to infections. Therefore, don’t sweat, keep it clean, and avoid touching it.

 

Again, don’t take stress as the healing process begins right after the treatment and takes no more than 7-10 days, one of the fascinating reasons to get powder brows.
